Obligation for placed reservations/bookings

Your reservation/booking is binding as soon as the deposit is credited to our account. We kindly ask you to complete the Ramsi guest master sheet (fax, PDF, JPG) and send it to us.

Smoke-free Kinderhotel Ramsi

For the benefit of the children, smoking is not permitted anywhere in the grounds of Kinderhotel Ramsi. Ashtrays are available on the balconies or terraces of the suites or rooms where smoking is allowed. Please be considerate of the other guests who live next to or above you.

Additional information about rooms and suites

 

The furniture and the room arrangement are as shown in the layout sketches and pictures, but may be different in the suite or room types Ladybird, Flipp, Butterfly and Shrew. The Shrew family suite on the3rd floor and the suites/rooms in Sunshine building are easily accessible via a staircase (without lift). All children’s rooms have black-out curtains!


Note regarding moving rooms: When booking online it may be necessary for you to move from one room to another room of the same category during your stay (although it happens very rarely). We ask for your understanding as this cannot be accounted for in online bookings. We will inform you in case of need.

Check-in and check-out

Your booked suites/rooms are available from 4pm. Meals start with dinner and end with breakfast on the day of departure. On the day of departure, please leave your suite or room by 10am. Thank you very much!
You are welcome to take away a lunch snack and/or the afternoon snack free of charge on the day of arrival and departure, and on both days you can use the entire Ramsi infrastructure.

Airport and train station transfers

 

Airport transfers:Airport transfers: We are happy to pick you up from the airport or bring you back. The drive to Klagenfurt Airport is 60 min, while Ljubljana/Brnik Airport is 75 min from the Kinderhotel Ramsi. The transfers must be pre-ordered in writing at least 1 week before your arrival (info@kinderhotel ramsi.at). You will receive details of the exact itinerary of the transfer one day before arrival. Transfer costs: for 1-3 persons € 90.00 per trip, for each additional person € 30.00 per trip.

 

Train station transfers:If you arrive by train, we will be happy to pick you up from Hermagor station and take you back for free. Ideally, please let us know one week before your arrival.

Ramsi Dog Label

Dogs are only allowed in the room types Butterfly, Flipp and Sunshine. Please do not take your dog into the restaurant area (dining rooms). Outdoors, your four-legged friend must be kept on a leash.
Cost per dog: € 12.00/day (without food)

Payment of the hotel bill

On site you can pay in cash, with a Maestro bank card or with credit cards (Visa, Mastercard). Security restrictions and limits may sometimes cause bank card and credit card withdrawals up from a certain amount to be rejected. We recommend therefore that you transfer the remaining bulk amount for your booking into our account (Ramsi GmbH) short before your arrival.

Travel cancellation insurance

 

We recommend that you take out our travel cancellation insurance (no excess). The insurance premium will need to be transferred to our account together with your deposit. The insurance covers all cancellation costs, e.g. in the event of unexpected illness with hospitalisation, accident or death of the insured person and/or their family members. Significant property damage and much more are also insured.

 

Please refer to the information sheet “Hotelstorno Plus” (see www.ramsi.at/buchung) for the complete policy of the travel cancellation insurance as well as the procedure in the event of a claim. Arrival and departure (train or plane ticket, car train, etc.), ski passes and ski lessons are not insured. If you have your own travel cancellation insurance, you will need to handle the formalities yourself in the event of a claim.

Cancellation conditions

We only accept holiday cancellations in writing.

Until 30.06.2020

  • In the case of cancellation no later than 14 days before the start of the holiday, you will receive the deposit back.
  • For cancellations between 14 days and 7 days before the start of the holiday, we charge 75% of the total price.
  • In case of cancellation in the last week before the start of the holiday, we charge 90% of the total price; this also applies in the case of late arrival or early departure.

From 01.07.2020 until 31.10.2020

  • In the case of cancellation no later than 1 month before the start of the holiday, you will receive the deposit back.
  • For cancellations between 1 month and 1 week before the start of the holiday, we charge 75% of the total price.
  • In case of cancellation in the last week before the start of the holiday, we charge 90% of the total price; this also applies in the case of late arrival or early departure.

After 01.11.2020

  • In the case of cancellation no later than 4 months before the start of the holiday, you will receive the deposit back.
  • If you cancel between 4 months and 2 months before the start of your holiday, you will receive the deposit minus a handling fee of € 50.
  • For cancellations between 2 months and 1 month before the start of the holiday, we charge 40% of the total price.
  • For cancellations between 1 month and 1 week before the start of the holiday, we charge 75% of the total price.
  • In case of cancellation in the last week before the start of the holiday, we charge 90% of the total price; this also applies in the case of late arrival or early departure.
